Take Your Normal Back (faster)

Regain bladder control with targeted, non-invasive therapy. Elitone for Men is a neuromuscular treatment to speed urinary incontinence recovery after prostate surgery. It strengthens the pelvic floor muscles responsible for bladder control, essentially kegel training for men. Post-prostatectomy incontinence is common while the muscles and urinary sphincter regain strength.

Elitone for Men is designed for men recovering from prostate surgery who are experiencing urinary leakage or loss of bladder control (urinary incontinence). The device helps strengthen the pelvic floor muscles that support bladder control during the recovery period.

Do NOT use if you:

  • Have an electronic implant (e.g., cardiac pacemaker, implanted defibrillator) or suffer from heart problems.
  • Have active cancer, epilepsy, or cognitive dysfunction.
  • Have had pelvic floor surgery within the last three weeks.
  • Have complete denervation of the pelvic floor.
  • Have a history or symptoms of urinary retention, extra-urethral incontinence, or overflow incontinence.
  • Have persistent incontinence more than 12 months post-prostatectomy.

Use Elitone for Men 20 minutes per day, 5 days per week.

After prostate surgery, the external urethral sphincter must regain strength to control the bladder. Elitone for Men helps strengthen these muscles during recovery. Most men begin to see improvement within about 6 weeks, with reduced urinary leakage and better bladder control as the pelvic floor muscles strengthen, and continued improvement in the weeks that follow.

Your Elitone package includes the controller, GelPad cable, charging cable, belt clip, user manual, storage case, and 15 GelPads (3 packs) – everything you’ll need until your 12-week followup appointment.

The flexible, patented shape allows for movement during treatment. They’re gentle on the skin, and can go over some hair (without pulling) but need skin contact. GelPads are reusable at least 3 times, or until they lose adhesion. The GelPads fit and are effective on all shapes and sizes.

Stimulation from the controller travels through the GelPad cable and spreads across the conductive silver grid inside the GelPad. The current is then delivered through the conductive gel to the skin. It flows between the front and back pads through the muscle, then reverses direction, helping ensure balanced activation of the targeted muscles.

You have 60 days from the date of purchase to return Elitone for a full refund. See the Return Policy.

“I had a difficult case: going into surgery with OAB and no relief from medication. As a very active 72-year-old, my symptoms were worst in the late afternoon during activities like yard work. Since using the device, I’ve gained confidence and can now sleep in regular underwear, and stay dry through the day and sexual activities.”

Beating cancer is the first step. Regaining control is the next.

Recovery after prostate surgery happens in stages. First comes treating the cancer. Next comes regaining bladder control, followed by restoring sexual function.

Many clinicians recommend approaching recovery with Kegels men often find hard to do sufficiently and correctly. Supporting the pelvic floor early is a great way to move forward with confidence.

Take action during this stage of recovery with (automated) kegel training for men, because being proactive can make the difference in how quickly and fully you return to normal life.

Frequently Asked Questions

Elitone for Men is designed to be used at home, at your convenience. Place the GelPad so the top portion sits just behind the scrotum, then press firmly to ensure all four adhesive areas contact the skin. Connect the GelPad to the small controller using the cable. Once dressed, clip the controller to your waistband, press start, and adjust the intensity until you feel comfortable muscle contractions. You can walk around and continue normal activities during the session. Each treatment lasts 20 minutes, and the controller turns off automatically when finished.

Elitone for Men is intended to be used during the continence recovery period after prostate surgery (prostatectomy, prostate removal). Most men begin using the device about 2–4 weeks after catheter removal, once initial healing has occurred.

Most men feel a tingling sensation where the GelPad contacts the skin. As the intensity increases, you will feel gentle tightening of the pelvic floor muscles.

During treatment, the stimulation follows a repeating cycle of 4 seconds of muscle tightening, 2 seconds of light tapping, and 6 seconds of rest. This pattern repeats throughout the 20-minute session.

Elitone for Men is designed to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles responsible for bladder control after prostate surgery. Many men focus first on regaining continence so they can move forward with the rest of recovery. Sexual function recovery varies and should be discussed with your physician.

Elitone is found to be both safe and effective by the FDA. The most common side effects are skin irritation and muscle fatigue, and these most often occur when the device is used more than the recommended amount. Both are typically addressed by taking a few days off from treatment.

Elitone® is FDA-cleared for use without a prescription.

Elitone is the name of the product family. Devices within the family are designed specifically for different anatomies.

Elitone for Men uses the same controller technology as Elitone for stress incontinence, but it is paired with a GelPad shaped for the male anatomy and includes 3 GelPad packs.

Elitone (the original device) uses a GelPad shaped to fit the female anatomy and the Starter Kit includes 2 GelPad packs.

Many men experience temporary urinary incontinence after prostate surgery. Bladder control typically improves over several months as the pelvic floor muscles regain strength. However, some may never fully recover even with doing Kegels. Devices such as pelvic floor stimulators may help reduce incontinence and speed recovery during this period.
